Thinking about adding a shot of red to my bedroom and being a girl that's more inclined to use neutrals in my decor, I'm not so sure - my husband quite likes the idea because he thinks our house is looking a little 'bland'! Ha! Husbands, what do they know about decorating anyway!! So, I'm using these images to pluck up the courage to use red...

Love a little splash of red so be brave and just do it! Hope your weekend is nice and relaxing even if you have a million things to do - enjoy. Leigh
ReplyDeleteI love red Lee but you probably already know that! The picture of the bedroom with the beautiful red drapes is just gorgeous. The furniture and the way they have introduced colour into the bedlinen all makes such a lovely room. I can actually see you creating a room like this if you decide to introduce this colour.
ReplyDeleteI also agree...really, what do our husbands know when it comes to decorating our houses! LOL...but I'm sure there are many out there who are dying to say..."I told you so" when we want to change a colour scheme because it didnt work...
Oh do it. You have great taste. Go with your gut feeling! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteI say go for it - red is the perfect accent. Have a lovely weekend, xv.
ReplyDeleteYes I love a bit of red. These are all great choices. Love the stripes mixed with florals in the second image.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Lee!
i love all the reds- great post!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I love to introduce red in winter. Just start with some cushions or a throw and then build on it.
ReplyDeleteI have always been quite partial to red myself Lee. My formal living room used to be red and my husband always complained too. It looked great when the christmas tree was up. Love all the images you chose.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your husband! Hayley
I love that red! Your husband could be right ... (did I really say that?)
ReplyDeleteBravo to you! How about starting with a gorgeous throw over a chair or on the end of your bed? It might be a subtle way of introducing the concept to your gorgeous man & in a fairly non-confrontational form - good luck Lee. Quietly, quietly catch the monkey!
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
Hi Lee
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collections of the pictures. I've been searching for an idea for my quest room. I think red will be very good. Thank you for the inspiration.
