After following the links on the fabulous post about stylist Megan Morton posted on The Design Files, I came across The Propery - an amazing 'bespoke props hire business' (that's how they describe it on their site) in Sydney that's run by stylists Megan Morton and Sarah Silm for stylists. This place definitely makes me wish I was a stylist. Here are some random things they have available for hire that are pretty damned stylish...
And here's what The Propery looks like. Wouldn't this be a great place to spend an hour or two looking in every nook and cranny...
All images are from The Propery. What's your favourite? Make sure you check out their fabulous website.
HA - I really would need MORE than spending only 2 hours there ;o) so many beautiful old things...I really LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWow, that really is amazing! So many nice things. You know, birdcages never even crossed my mind before I started reading blogs, but now I love them!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing collection of beautiful and interesting things. I wonder do they take overnight guests - I think you'd need that long to discover everything!
ReplyDeleteI'm in treasure heaven! I can see so many pieces I would love to get my hands on to, shame I'm off to work xx
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the photo of the sailboats, lantern and globe, but they all give me palpitations.
ReplyDeleteOMG.. Great place to be.. I can stay there all day or until the owner kick me out..(smile) Great posting. Will check out their site.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Julie
Wow it looks gorgeous. But I think I'd find it hard to look around knowing I couldn't buy anything!

ReplyDeleteHI Lee,
ReplyDeleteLOVE this blog!! I found you when I was looking for The Propery. I love Megan Morton's work and had the fortune to hire her some pieces for an event. I'd love you to pop by and have a look at my business www.thevintagekitchen.com.au - I hire out vintage crockery and accessories for a beautiful soiree`s. (Left my teaching/counselling job to do so - note you are from education also... do it!!) JO x
