Riding along...

Summer is just around the corner and I think it would be lovely to ride to the shops and down to the local swimming pool on one of these little beauties. They're beautifully crafted handmade bicycles that are made here in Australia by Bakerlite. But of course like most things that are custom made, they come with a hefty price tag. Still, if you had one of these sweet bicycles I think you'd cherish it forever and even pass it down to your children.

But really, if I was riding down to the shops I might actually need this model given my shopping habits...

My favourite is the Princess Classic...

  5. These are amazing and just what I want for little jaunts around town. And there is obviously something really wrong with me because I don't think that they are particularly expensive. !!!! But that may be because of what my husband spends on his bikes!

  9. That huge basket is very practical!
I am so sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your question about our camera - in case you are still looking, we have a Panasonic DMC-FZ18. It is basically a point and shoot type camera but with lots of manual options (most of which I need to learn how to use!) I love the 18x zoom, definitely not the biggest you can get but decent enough to get most shots!

  10. What beauties Lee! Seeing as Stirling is just a little village, I should really contemplate this seriously. Every time I back the 4WD out of the garage just to nip down for a loaf of bread I do get the guilts.
