Teacups not just for tea

I love the way that photographer Sandra Lane has captured teacup being used not just for tea but being put to other lovely uses too...

Teacups can make beautiful candles...

They're a lovely vessel to hold a few pieces of special jewellery...

They make great vases for a few little blooms...

And how about these teacups that have been transformed into wine glasses (wine cups!?)...

This last pic is of a teacup that was given to me by my lovely friend Jenni...

Jenni bought a red teacup for my sister Jacky, a blue cup for me and a white/gold cup for herself. With the teacup came a beautiful photo of the three cups together and the following message was written on the back of the photo:
I found this tea set in a tiny little shop, and I straight away thought of the three of us, so in a mad moment I bought the tea set. I thought each one of us should have a cup and in some way remind each other of our friendship and how special it is. Down the track the tea set may once again be reunited and hopefully find a lovely home again. I will always think of the fun times we have shared over the years.

She is such a wonderful, loved and treasured friend and this teacup means a lot to me.

Really loved this teacup post Lee. One of my most favourite teacup images is on the wall of your family room (I thought you might have put that on your post...it is beautiful).
