Hot in the city

We're into the 3rd day of 40+ degree heat here in Melbourne, and with no end to the heatwave in sight I've got to say that it's quite mentally and physically draining. I look out onto my front garden and it just looks brown and distressed. And with water restrictions there's nothing you can do about it. Even my hardy little agapanthus look a tad stressed. Here's hoping that mother nature takes pity on us and sends us a cool change soon.

The House That A-M Built said...

Hi Lee, Lovely to meet you. Thank you for your kind words over at my blog. It just takes one kind comment like yours to erase the stress of a day on a building site. Welcome to blogland... you will love it... it is such a kind and loving community.... and now that you have started... you will never stop! A-M xx

Dear A-M

Thank you so much for popping by, and thank you for your kind words. I think you're right, blogging is highly addictive (but in a nice kind of way).
And, having just come through a major renovation a while ago, I know that all your hard work will pay off in spades. Every time you walk through the door of your new home you will pinch yourself thinking it's all a dream. You have great style and it really shows in what you are lovingly creating.
