Sea urchins...how can something that is a scavenger and lives on algae be so beautiful?

Sea urchins bring back so many memories for me. My husband is a deep sea diver ( as a hobby ) and used to bring up sea urchins ( also delicious to eat ) and I used to have them displayed but they were such dust collectors and I grew out of them but yours look so lovely. XXXX

Those photos are so lovely! Sea urchins are funny creatures aren't they? They are such a great example of beauty in unexpected places.

I love sea urchins. I'm not sure why but they seriously appeal to me.

Aren't sea urchins beautiful?! We've got tons of them here. I could take a bag and fill it up at the beach just about everyday. If they are put under or behind glass, they won't collect dust much.

Aren't they so pretty! Like Jacquie's husband, MOTH had a whole bunch from his diving days too. I've got them in bell jars mixed up with my favourite shells & love the look.

I love that shadow box with all the treasures Lee and yes, there is something very special about sea urchins.

Thanks so much for my lovely weekend in Hobart Lee, I felt very loved and spoilt.

I have tried a couple of times to write a comment here, but for some reason this page gets an error whenever I open it. Finally I can....
I just wanted to say: I'm in love with all these items here. Have a great week Lee! XXX, Carmie.
